HBCU Band Poll: Which band won the 2024 Labor Day Classic halftime show, Texas Southern or Prairie View?

The annual Labor Day Classic football game, featuring Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern, resulted in the Tigers besting the Panthers 27-9 in a game no one gave TSU a chance of winning under head coach Cris Dishman’s regime.

Halftime may have told a different story, as both bands, the Texas Southern Ocean of Soul and the Prairie View A&M Marching Storm, exhibited the very style and flair expected during an HBCU halftime show.

No official winner was crowned, but that doesn’t mean our audience can’t pick one.
