Bowie State Homecoming Game To Be Televised on HBCU GO TV

The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) announced its broadcast schedule for the 2024 football season, with games set to be shown on HBCU GO, as well as the conference's very own CIAA Sports Network.

Bowie State's homecoming contest against Bluefield State set for Saturday, Oct. 19 will be one of six CIAA games to be televised live on HBCU Go, including the 2024 CIAA Football Championship, which will be held in Salem, Va., on Nov. 16 this year. The Bulldogs' homecoming contest is slated to kick off at 1:05 p.m. from Bulldog Stadium.

HBCU GO's five-game regular season slate, which features seven of the league's 11 teams, begins Saturday, September 21 when Winston-Salem State visits Virginia State. Two weeks later, (Saturday, October 5), Fayetteville State hosts Bowie State for Military Appreciation Day. Johnson C. Smith will travel to take on the Rams of Winston-Salem State the next week on October 26. The final HBCU GO regular season game will pit a true battle on the gridiron as defending champion Virginia Union makes a short trip down I-95 on Nov. 9 to take on arch-rival Virginia State at Rogers Stadium. All regular season contests are set for a 1 p.m. kick-off.

HBCU GO will conclude its CIAA football broadcast schedule with the conference championship game on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Salem Stadium. The scheduled 3 p.m. kickoff will be between the respective CIAA #1 and #2 regular season place finishers.

Every conference game will also be available on the CIAA Sports Network. Local listings of each game's broadcast will be available at a later time.
